The Fernmark is a registered trademark managed by the New Zealand government, and it's not handed out lightly. To carry it, a brand has to meet strict quality and origin criteria, so it's a real assurance that the honey genuinely comes from New Zealand, is processed to a proper standard, and is traceable back to source, rather than just a nice-looking sticker.
It also reflects Wedderspoon's wider approach: supporting the beekeepers and communities behind the honey, not just the honey itself.
