Aloe Vera Juice, Explained Honestly

Aloe Vera has been popular in skincare for a long time, and its juice has become a popular way to enjoy it too. Here's an honest look at what it actually offers.

What is it?

Aloe Vera juice is made from the gel inside the plant's leaves, which is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Juice is simply an easier, more standardised way to take it than working with the raw gel directly.

What people use it for

Aloe Vera juice is popular as part of a daily wellness routine, some people enjoy it for its taste and as a way to stay hydrated, and its antioxidants are a genuinely useful part of a varied diet. What we won't do is claim it treats a named condition, if you're managing IBS, acid reflux, eczema, psoriasis, or anything that needs proper diagnosis and care, your GP is the right first step, not a daily juice.

We'd also gently push back on "detox" claims you might see elsewhere: your liver and kidneys already do that job very well, and no juice, ours included, works by "flushing toxins."

Choosing a good one

Not all Aloe Vera juices are equal, look for one that's genuinely high in Aloe Vera content, free from unnecessary additives, and ideally certified for quality and purity.
