What Mānuka honey actually is
Mānuka honey comes from bees that feed on the Mānuka bush, native to New Zealand. It carries a naturally antibacterial compound called methylglyoxal, which is genuinely well studied, and genuinely interesting, but it's not a treatment for a named digestive condition.
What we won't tell you
If you're managing IBS, ulcers, or ongoing stomach discomfort, that's a conversation for your GP, not a jar of honey. We won't claim otherwise, no matter how nice the marketing copy could sound.
What Mānuka honey is genuinely good for
A spoonful stirred into warm water or tea is a pleasant, natural way to sweeten a drink, and plenty of people enjoy it as part of a general wellness routine. That's a real reason to love it, it just isn't a medical one.
Why our Wedderspoon range
All our Wedderspoon Mānuka Honey is raw and unprocessed, so it keeps its natural character. It's measured by KFactor, so you know exactly what you're buying, and it comes in a range of strengths from KFactor 12 up to KFactor 16.
