Beeswax comes from the wax glands of honeybees, it's what they use to build honeycomb, and the small surplus is what makes its way into our candles.
Genuine reasons to like them: beeswax candles burn slower and longer than regular paraffin candles, they're a naturally renewable by-product rather than something made specifically for candles, and a pure beeswax candle burns with no synthetic fragrance or dye.
What we won't claim: you'll sometimes see beeswax candles described as "air purifying" or able to "remove toxins," we'd gently push back on that, there's no real mechanism behind it. Enjoy them for the warm light and the honest, simple ingredients, that's plenty on its own.
If you're buying elsewhere too, check the label says "100% Pure Beeswax" so you know exactly what you're getting.
