      These tablets are quite large, but they’re safe and effective to chew, crush in water, or mix into yoghurt—many of our customers do! They have a naturally sweet taste since they’re made from a natural sugar. If you prefer, we also offer a powder version here. The recommended dose is one tablet per day, with up to three if needed.

      D-Mannose is a simple sugar molecule found naturally in fruits such as cranberries. The sugar can be used to help flush out the bacteria responsible for up to 90% of urinary tract infections.

      Bacteria naturally exists in the digestive system, but if it enters the urinary tract, it can multiply and stick to the bladder wall, leading to urinary tract infection symptoms and discomfort. D-mannose can help by attracting bacteria and allowing it to be flushed out during urination. It acts as a prevention method when taken regularly and actively removes bacteria during an infection when taken at higher levels as a supplement.

      These help control cystitis if taken early on before pain is too bad. Along with bicarbonate soda I can usually rid of it without antibiotics or a visit to Dr.

      I have been using D-Mannose tablets since October, as recommended by a gynaecological consultant. I am prone to Urinary Tract Infections (UTI's)and the tablets have made my life so much easier.       My daughter gave me some D Mannose when I was starting with my last bout of a UTI and as always it was the weekend and I couldnt get to see a doctor.
      I took almost all the symptoms away within 24hours and I now take one on a daily basis and not had any problems since.
